1997 Ferrari 355 Spider

Chassis No. 106264
This left-hand drive, European-market F355 Spider is presented in the timeless combination of Rosso Corsa paintwork and Beige leather with complementary Castoro (light brown) carpets. Delivered to its first owner, Gary Peters of London, on 24 October 1997 through Maranello Sales Ltd. in Egham, the car's original warranty and service book documents a life of meticulous care. Service stampings show that the car has been maintained by Ferrari dealerships and independent specialists since new, with the Spider receiving its first comprehensive engine-out service at Foskers Engineering after accumulating over 18,000 kilometers by mid-2001.
Further detailed invoices show that several service visits came under the long-term ownership of Mr. Susheel Surpal of Rueil-Malmaison, France, from approximately 2003 to 2015. In addition to consistent annual maintenance at the renowned Charles Pozzi S.A.S. over the years, the Spider also received care from De Dain Racing and Modena Motors in this ownership. Upon joining the current U.K.-based consignor in 2015, the Spider continued to receive expert service from both Charles Pozzi and Bell Sport & Classic Ltd. over the next several years. Highlights included a clutch replacement in 2015 at 60,819 kilometers, a major engine-out service at 64,586 kilometers, and a further engine-out cam belt replacement service in 2019 at 69,712 kilometers.
In more recent years, Bell Sport & Classic's Ferrari specialists performed an additional cam belt replacement service in September 2023, along with attention to smaller, often overlooked items like the interior door lights. The most recent service in April 2024 addressed an oil leakage from the gearbox selector input seal as well as the replacement of five corroded wheel bolts (three right front and two left rear).
Overall, this is a superb and well-sorted example of one of the last truly analog Ferraris, offering tactile steering and the “click-clack” gated gear shifts unavailable in modern supercars. Benefitting from a thoroughly documented life of care from just two long-term owners over the last 23 years, this well-kept F355 Spider is ready for many more years of spirited gear changes and open-air excitement. It is accompanied by its owner's manuals, Schedoni leather tool kit, and tire inflator.
